Chulalongkorn University Full Scholarships for ASEAN Students in Thailand, 2018

Scholarships: Chulalongkorn University is currently accepting applications for Scholarships for ASEAN students to study one full semester on scholarship. Applicants must be undergraduate students at an accredited university in an ASEAN country except for Thailand.
Host College/University: Chulalongkorn University is the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand. Founded in 1917 by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI), the university was named as a tribute to the king’s royal father, King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). Over a period of time, Chulalongkorn University, or Chula for short, has grown to become a top-ranked university. Today, Chulalongkorn University is composed of 19 faculties, 23 colleges, and research institutes. Currently, there are over 38,000 students including approximately 25,000 undergraduates, 13,500 postgraduates (11,000 in the Master Degree and 2,150 in the Doctoral Degree programs) and 2,800 faculty members. Degree level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.
Field of Study: Scholarships are awarded within the Faculty of Communication Arts.
Scholarship Award: Scholarship Includes
  • One-semester Full Scholarship
  • Tuition of 91,000 Baht
  • Expenses 50,000 Baht
  • Air Ticket Reimbursement (not exceed than 9,500 Baht )
Nationalities: ASEAN students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Scholarship can be taken in Thailand.
  • First Semester (August – December 2018)– 3 scholarships available
  • Second Semester (January – May 2019)– 2 scholarships available
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applicants must be undergraduate students at an accredited university in an ASEAN country except for Thailand
  • Applicants must be a citizen of an ASEAN member country
  • All ASEAN students studying in Thailand are ineligible to apply
  • Language requirement
  • TOEFL score: at least 90 (IBT) or higher, or
  • IELTS score: at least 6 or higher, or
  • (Scores must be less than 2 years old based on the date of application)

  • Complete application form
  • Statement of purpose attached to the application form
  • Official transcript with latest GPAX
  • One 1-inch photograph (face shot with no hat, sunglasses, or computer editing)
  • Two letters of recommendation from lecturers or advisors
  • University testimonial letter
  • Language requirement
  • TOEFL score: at least 90 (IBT) or higher, or
  • IELTS score: at least 6 or higher, or
(Scores must be less than 2 years old based on the date of application)
